      Unfortunately, it is too late for me to go to the lawyer – did all that already and signed away my rights to get the Post Dated Cheques back. I need to wait till Dec 2010 or longer before being able to pursue Sweethomes for the balance. Drop me an email at ajmanuptownbuyer @ gmail (.com) and happy to exchange some ideas.     Hi again and thanks for your reply. I m so frustrated from the way they treated me at thier office. and I remembered the day I went to buy the property & they were kissing my hand to join them & now they ignore us! anyway I dont trust them any more and want half of my money back. I talked to my lawyer and frankly speaking he told me that according to the contract, we don’t have the right to ask for the money now, However. He tried to find other gap to return back the money. He wanted me to go to Ajman land and property authority to ask about the project and if they started or not yet ?!! I don’t mind if you want to call me at any time or even to desplay my number. I think if we manage to gather people as many as we can ,, we may exchange more ideas and experience to solve this issue, as I know that if a group of people complaint the authority will be able to take a decision against the company ,, my e-mail is ibrahim_crew@yahoo.com

    I am impressed highly by your dedication to show SWEETHOME a sweet lesson. Many times, you say, these developers are crooks or crowns. I can tell you, they are very very professionals crooks. That’s why they prepared full proof plan, engaged ROYAL FAMILY with their PHOTO’s. whereas these promoters names are in FBI & other very very bad lists. These peoples are even know the cycle of happening, So not started work, until 35% money reached to them. Then start production & asking for further payment.

    See their foolishness & crooked mentality, We are loosing our 200,000 AED because the price we have to still paid balance is not matched with their actual price in future, but still they are publishing the price in millions in their website.

    In Their headoffice, One YAMANI crook welcome you like a ANGEL, if you say, you need to buy, & become like CROCODILE, if you say, you want to cancel. Ohh.. second person is from the same place of promotor, GREAT GREAT PAKISTAN. In list of great cooks of Pakistan, 1st is our Mr. 10%, second spend a lot of time in KSA, our promoter is in fifth place, but second top official in headquarter name i am searching.

    If they are real people, they can handle/use these things upto market stables to get confidence, as:–

    1. They already have tower plan like GOLD CREST, RAINBOW. Whatever money people paid, ask them for choice of transfer in TOWER as in today scenerio of UAE, nobody want to pay a single more dirham in any circumstances.

    2. Whom want to continue with AJMAN UPTOWN, link the payment with construction & give back the PDC.

    3.Reduce the price of villa as actual, as they are paying only 1/3 to LIWA construction & their staff.

    4. Reduce the size of project & become actual & practical man. Will you want the same scene of JLT, MARINA, INTERNATIONAL CITY, where few peoples are paying for whole community charges.

    5. May be many disappointed, but i spent my 12 years in UAE & found in last like every 13 years, One full round of circumstances repeat. So, I can imagine the days, when we afraid to go DUBAI CINEMA after 9′o clock in night due to lonliness in front of Main DEIRA ETISALAT building. AGAIN GOING TO BECOME GHOST & EMPTY CITY.

    6. HOWARD & OXFORD send some expert to make one case study, as these circumstances will be unique for the world. Happens only in 1000 years history.

    Congrats, glad to hear things worked out, at least for the PDCs. Can you please post the cancellation letter on your blog, after removing the personal details? Thanks for the pointers earlier, I will also plan on starting legal action to get the termination done. Any other tips?

      The only way that will work will be to approach in numbers, and pursue a full court press. Also post at http://www.emirates.org as well as skyscrapercity.com and see if there are other buyers willing to join. Since you all have no PDCs outstanding, you have a lot more leverage.
